Several smartphone manufacturers are following in Apple’s footsteps and removing components from the boxes of their releases, such as Samsung (still under suspicion) and Xiaomi (already confirmed). This, as was to be expected, ended up generating a veritable avalanche of consumer criticism – even under the justification of protecting the environment. However, the Chinese decided to turn the tables
Today, the company announced an action that should make the transition smoother: those who don’t have spare cables and chargers will be able to pick them up separately at no cost when they purchase the Mi 11. For now, the absence of the items in some models will only happen in the China, declared the company to the Android Authority, and it remains to be seen how (and if) it will apply to the rest of the world.
Anyway, at launch, there will be two versions available, one with only the smartphone and one that includes a separate 55W GaN fast charger. Then, it is up to the customer to choose yours.

The action, of course, was welcomed by many. After all, it softens the idea that the reasons stated by large companies are nothing more than a strategy to profit more from the sale of accessories that, before, were part of any option available on the market.
Available in three versions, five colors and starting at 3,999 yuan ($3,208 in direct conversion), the Xiaomi Mi 11, which will feature the MIUI 12.5 operating system, is already on pre-order in the Asian country and will officially arrive by there from January 1st. So, what did you think of the company’s initiative?
